Island Songs by Icelandic composer Olafur Arnalds is a unique and heartfelt project released in 2016. Over seven weeks, Arnalds traveled across Iceland, collaborating with local musicians and capturing the essence of their communities. Each week, a new song and accompanying film were released, documenting the creative process and the stunning Icelandic landscapes. The result is a collection of seven pieces blending classical, folk, and ambient influences, reflecting the spirit and beauty of Iceland.
