Ingrid Lovise delivers on her second album "Eyes Wide Open". Here she takes brave steps. There is no doubt that the small-town girl has seen what life has to offer after several years in the city. Both sound-wise and thematically, Ingrid Lovise shows new sides of herself. This is what she says about the project: "Building a catalog is fun. On my first album "Half of Her Heart and the Other Part" from 2021, I am wonderfully naive and very sweet, if I do say so myself. On "Eyes Wide Open" I see things for what they are. A bolder, more direct approach to things. I have also taken more ownership of a little healthy anger - an emotion that, like fire does, burns something up and speeds up the potatoes. This record has it all. Euphoria, reflection, gratitude, anger, sadness and contentment. The whole spectrum. As on the first album, I have a trouser song. On the debut album I wear ola trousers, while this time it's the philosophical linen trousers I've put on. I am very proud of “Eyes Wide Open.”
