This amazing tool allows you to enjoy high-quality reverb and chorus effects WITHOUT the need for external effects devices and amplifiers.

What is the secret?

A subthreshold piezo pick-up picks up the vibration of the strings and converts it into an electrical signal. The amplifier processes the signal, applying reverb and chorus effects to it. The actuator on the lower deck vibrates, receives a signal from the amplifier and vibrates according to the law of effects applied from the output signal. As a result of the vibration of the soundboard and the air inside it, they start an oscillating movement, naturally mixing the effects with the main tone of the instrument's sound.

Simple and convenient management

The choice of "Room" and "Hall" takes place when the position is crossed at 12.00.

Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to activate the TransAcoustic function. When the cable is connected to the output of the guitar, turning the knob changes the volume on the line output.

ARE technology

ARE (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) is an original wood transformation technology developed by Yamaha. Instruments made of wood using this technology get the tonal richness of sound characteristic of "adult" played instruments, and have been actively used for many years.

ARE technology is based on carefully and precisely controlled humidity and temperature to manage the molecular properties of wood towards acoustically more optimal ones (similar to the molecular structure of wood in instruments that have been played for many years).

• This process takes place without the use of chemicals, so it is safe for the environment.
  
• This reconstruction leads to the creation of appropriate ideal acoustic conditions.
  

The images above show a comparison of the acoustic spectral characteristics, measured under the same conditions, for a regular guitar and an L-series guitar with A.R.E. Notice the increased intensity and sustain in the low-frequency range and the leveling of the mid-range, which ultimately results in a more balanced and clear bass sound using A.R.E. It is also important to note that the high frequencies have a shorter decay time after the attack, creating a more "sharp" sound.

This is strong evidence that A.R.E. effective in creating the desired changes in the acoustic characteristics of wood. But not only in theory, but in practice, tools from A.R.E. received high praise from a large number of guitarists. Most of them rated the new instruments as those they had been playing for many years.

The upper deck is made of solid spruce

The top of the LL-TA is made from solid Engelmann Spruce, grown in Canada. This type of wood is light in weight and provides rich sound with good response.

Improved deck connection system

The soundboard connection system was carefully developed by Yamaha specialists. Each scalloped stiffener is precisely positioned to maximize the full potential of the instrument's sound.

The lower soundboard and fretboard are made of solid rosewood

Yamaha uses solid rosewood for the LL-TA neck and bottom. Palisander perfectly combines with Engelmann spruce visually, and helps to obtain a uniform sound of the instrument in its entire range.

Comfortable traditional neck profile

Careful refinement and selection of string spacing, string height, and neck edging allowed us to create a new neck profile that is ideal for today's musicians. The new profile ensures the convenience of playing along the entire length of the neck.

Neck made of five parts

The new mahogany neck is reinforced with two rosewood inlays. The special design unites the neck, the neck head and the body of the guitar into a single whole for a powerful rich sound. In addition, this design allows to increase the strength and stability of the neck and significantly reduces the probability of its deformation.

Minimization of sound losses

The number and size of holes in the guitar's neck are kept to a minimum to minimize acoustic loss. The control panel of the electronic module, as compact as possible and milling on the collar, reduced to three small holes for potentiometers. The output connector of the new design includes a compartment for batteries (2 x AA).
