The AP-S450 is the newest model in the Casio Celviano line. The instrument represents the integration of physical mechanisms and digital technology and provides a sensitivity previously only available in high-end acoustic grand pianos.
Under the slogan "Rethinking traditions and innovative technologies", CASIO presents new models of the Celviano stationary digital piano series. The flagship model AP-750 is equipped with the newly developed Grandphonic sound system, Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard (Celviano Edition) and state-of-the-art features such as the Visual Information Bar.
In parallel with AP-750, CASIO releases two more new Celviano models - AP-550 and AP-S450, which is presented in a particularly compact case. The AP-750 is available in elegant black, the AP-550 and AP-S450 models are available in black, brown and white.
- if you want to include variations of the expression in one phrase, the visual display serves as a confirmation of changes in the force of pressing the keys;
- for duet performances using the "duet function", the panel is divided in the center, displaying the speed of pressing the keys both on the left and on the right;
- during playback of songs recorded using the built-in MIDI recorder, the speed of pressing keys can be observed on the visual information panel;
- this function ingeniously displays the beats using light movements on the front panel, effectively doubling the role of a metronome;
- when you connect the device via Bluetooth and play music, it is equipped with a visual information panel backlight function that lights up in sync with the music.
The popular Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard has been optimized for the new models of the CELVIANO series. This wooden hybrid keyboard takes the key characteristics of high-quality grand piano keys and combines physical mechanisms that use the weight of the hammers with advanced digital technology that controls the feel and sonic response of each key.
This innovation provides an expressive performance that matches the pianist's emotions and can be adapted to different playing techniques. In addition, the stability of the keyboard action has been improved to accommodate the subtle nuances of classical piano pieces.

The new models contain a wide range of timbres, including a variety of acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs and string instruments from different eras. The AP-S450 offers the enjoyment of two grand piano timbres—Hamburg Grand and Vienna Grand—favored by famous musicians throughout the long history of piano art.

Improve your game with Casio's "Instant RePlayer"
Activating the "Instant RePlayer" function initiates continuous recording with the press of keys or pedals, saving up to 270 seconds of performance data. When the duration exceeds 270 seconds, older recordings are overwritten, eliminating the need to be aware of the recording. During free play or training, if any interesting moments arise, you can easily specify a playback point and listen instantly.
Unlike typical recording functions that start playback from the beginning of a song, Instant RePlayer allows you to specify the playback position in 5-second intervals, enabling instant playback when you want to review a specific phrase that failed. Also, by marking positions during performance that you want to return to later, you can specify playback positions, making it extremely convenient for listening to complex parts precisely or comparing multiple complex parts. This operation can be performed on the piano itself or easily with the special application "CASIO MUSIC SPACE".
