Scale 25.5"

For those who are used to playing instruments with a standard 25.5" scale, the new SR250 is just the thing. As with all Variax, the standard scale is fully compatible with alternative tunings - so you can play in any tuning, regardless of string tension, with the Variax Shuriken SR250 you can go far beyond the range of any standard 6, 7 or even 8 string instrument!

Variax HD technology

Like all guitars in the Variax family, the Variax Shuriken gives guitarists instant access to a wide variety of guitar models and alternative tunings using Variax HD modeling technology. Guitar models and alternative tunings are available with a simple turn of the knob. Variax Shuriken also features guitar models and preset settings created by Steve “Stevic” MacKay.

Optimized for use with Line 6 multi-effect processors

The Variax Shuriken works great with any guitar rig, yet is perfectly optimized for use with Line 6 modelers and multi-effects, including Helix™, POD® HD and Firehawk®. Create custom presets that let you change the amp, effect, guitar model, and guitar frets all on the fly with the flick of a switch.
