Paul chose every aspect of this instrument, from the wood and inlay design to the pickups. This updated model represents Paul's vision not only as a guitar maker, but also as a guitarist who needs a versatile stage and studio-ready guitar that allows him to achieve the sound he wants. As a jack of all trades, Paul's personal choices include a mahogany body with a maple top, Honduran rosewood fingerboard, nitrocellulose lacquer, "Brushstroke" bird inlays, and narrow-aperture pickups. Paul's Guitar also features PRS TCI (Tuned Capacitance and Inductance) pickups with two mini toggles that allow performers to switch one or both pickups to either humbucker or true single mode.
