The company ESP appeared in 1975 as a small repair shop in Tokyo, and in the mid-1980s, original ESP guitars and basses attracted the attention of musicians around the world.
The LTD '87 series is an exact replica of the instruments from ESP's 1987 catalog. Based on the original ESP Mirage shape, the LTD Mirage Deluxe '87 is a shred machine with a thin bolt-on maple neck, an alder body, and comes in a striking Turquoise finish. The instrument is equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo and a set of Seymour Duncan Distortion TB-6 pickups (with original-style coils and push-pull control for coil separation) and Seymour Duncan Hot Rails near the neck.
