Electric guitar YAMAHA PACIFICA 212V QM (Translucent Black)
Pacifica 212VQM - it is a carefully refined version of the legendary Pacifica 112V model
In the late 1980s, Yamaha Guitar Development (YGD) in Hollywood, California included a workshop that built custom guitars. Sensing the wider possibilities, Yamaha Corporation decided to create a more mass and affordable guitar based on the features and design developed by YGD.
In 1990, this project was realized with the release of the first Pacifica model, which immediately became incredibly popular due to its versatility, which made it a favorite among the leading session guitarists of Los Angeles, such as Michael Lee Firkins (Michael Lee Firkins), Mike Stern (Mike Stern ), Cornell Dupree and many others. It would eventually become one of the most popular quality guitar models available worldwide.
Yamaha Pacifica 212VQM is the embodiment of elegant beauty and tonal versatility capable of covering any musical genre. The comfortable and lightweight alder body is adorned with an exquisite quilted maple top, guaranteed to turn heads. The elegant maple neck guarantees impressive playability along its entire length. A killer trio of universal pickups with Alnico magnets guarantee a wide timbre palette - from ringing clean notes to fiery metal riffs. Electric guitars of the Pacifica series are a real trademark of Yamaha and one of the most popular electric guitars in Ukraine from the beginning of the 1990s until now.
Alder body
Alder is characterized by a well-balanced clean sound with a rich midrange. A very common wood for making a guitar body.
Attractive wavy maple top
The spectacular appearance of the guitar is enhanced by the presence of a top made of high-quality wavy (quilted) maple. The head of the neck is also covered with maple veneer and painted in the color of the body.
Alnico V pickups
The humbuckers and singles of the Pacifica 112V electric guitar use Alnico V magnets to provide a clean, resonant and focused sound, while at the same time being dense enough not to be lost in the background of other instruments.
Cut-off mode (Coil Tap)
The coil tap function expands the tonal capabilities of this instrument. A push-pull switch on the tone knob lets you instantly switch between humbucker/single modes.
Tremolo with cast saddles
Classic 6-screw vintage tremolo with massive cast saddles provides increased sustain and improved response of the instrument.
