Continuing the Tiny Terror tradition, the Dark Terror takes the classic "lunchbox amp" formula and gives it a dark, modern twist. Designed to deliver heavy tones with high gain, the 4-stage preamp borrows technology from Orange's flagship amplifiers, packing the best of Orange's rich sound into a portable 15-watt package. Equipped with an Orange tube effects loop and an output power switch, the Dark Terror not only delivers demonic distortion, but can also deliver a great clean or crunch sound. This deceptively simple amp is capable of much more than just metal.
High gain is just the beginning
With four stages of amplification, the Dark Terror has enough power for even the most demanding modern metalhead. With the same carefully engineered gain structure as our flagship Dual Dark and Rockerverb amps, this little devil is built for maximum clarity and articulation, even at maximum gain levels. And just like its more powerful siblings, the Dark Terror's gain control can be rolled back to reveal a more than viable range of clean, crunch and bluesy tones.

This intuitive feature can also be found on the Dark Terror's stadium-smashing big brother, the 100/50W Dual Dark. Combining a host of EQ controls into one knob, the Shape knob reduces midrange while boosting bass and treble. Turn counterclockwise for a thick, mid-heavy "punch" or clockwise for a classic "squeezed" metal tone.
Tube buffered effects loop
No modern amplifier is complete without a great effects loop. Orange's highly transparent, all-tube circuitry ensures your signal receives nothing but the best processing. No matter how complex your effects chain.
