First introduced in 1990, the Pacifica series was based on the California scene of the time, where versatility, sound and individuality were key.

Inspired by those custom guitars, the Pacifica 612VII incorporates a Wilkinson VS-50 floating tremolo, Seymour Duncan pickups in an HSS configuration, being the modern embodiment of the Pacifica concept.

All current Pacifica 600 models are equipped with a TB-14 "Custom 5" humbucker in the bridge position for a full-bodied sound with a slightly sunken midrange and the ability to switch to single mode for added versatility. The 612 models use single SSL-1 models in the mid and low positions for an authentic 1950s tone.

Wilkinson VS50 tremolo

Precision machined zinc saddles are perfectly matched with a hardened steel base plate for tuning sensitivity and stability.

Grover lock pegs

These pegs offer added tuning stability by reducing string slip - especially for guitars equipped with tremolo systems - without compromising quick string changes.

Graph Tech TUSQ upper bridge and retainers

The TUSQ XL is engineered with high precision to transmit string vibration to the neck, providing a richness of tone and harmonics. The material, saturated with Teflon, eliminates binding of the strings and helps to ensure the stability of the tuning even with wide bends.
