The Black Metal LTD series are guitars that are comparable in build quality to our LTD Deluxe 1000 Series instruments.
However, these guitars have a dark and menacing design - with all-black finish on the instrument's components and hardware, a premium single pickup, an ebony fingerboard, with side fret markers (which glow in the dark) and a new black metallic LTD logo on the headstock.
The EC-FR Black Metal is based on the popular single-cut ESP Eclipse shape. The instrument features a set thru design for easy access to the upper frets in the 24.75 scale. The Seymour Duncan "Blackened" Black Winter pickup is mounted directly into the body of the guitar. The EC-FR Black Metal adds a Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo to the already cool EC-Black Metal The icing on this black cake is the LTD lock pegs.
