It's a neck-thru body shred machine with a mahogany body, a three-piece maple neck, an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-high frets, and high-end components such as a bone top, straplocks Schaller, Gotoh lock pegs and a Gotoh TOM bridge with a string-through-body design.

The sound of the E-II Horizon NT-II comes from a pair of active pickups EMG 66TW (near the neck) and EMG 57TW (near the bridge) with the ability to open the humbucker coils using push-pull switches on the volume and tone controls. The package includes a branded ESP hard case.
