Built at our ESP factory in Japan, the ESP E-II Alexi Ripped is among the latest guitars designed by Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight frontman Alexi Laiho, one of the most beloved and influential figures in the world of metal music

The E-II Alexi Ripped is offered in an offset V design with a through-body neck and a 25.5" scale. The instrument features a thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck with a natural satin finish for smooth and fast play, alder body "wings" and an ebony fingerboard (scalloping on frets 19-24) with 24 extra- jumbo frets, sawtooth markers and luminescent side markers.

The Alexi Ripped model is the first Alexi Laiho Signature Series guitar with more than one pickup

The guitar features an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge position, a high-gain ceramic pickup that delivers great presence and clarity with punchy response, and an EMG HZ S2 passive single in the neck position with just the right mix of midrange with crisp and full bottoms It also features an ESP MM-04 active booster, an amplifier circuit with adjustable EQ settings and up to +18dB of gain when you need it!

Designed for professional musicians

The E-II Alexi Ripped features high quality components such as Gotoh locking pegs, ESP straplocks, Floyd Rose Original tremolo and chrome hardware including a volume control, integrated three-way pickup switch and boost activator. Available in Purple Fade Satin finish with black painted satin "torn" stripes, with back and sides. Includes deluxe ESP hard case.
