With the addition of the latest set of classic Fishman Fluence Open Core humbuckers and a truly unique 5-way pickup switching system, Cort takes the new X700 Duality II to a new, even higher level, making it more versatile and comfortable than ever before.

Mahogany body with maple top

The maple top on the mahogany body is a proven recipe for a perfectly balanced sound, with a warm character, full bass and crystal bright highs. This tonal characteristic allows the X700 Duality II to "cut through" even the densest mix, while maintaining fullness and saturation.

Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic pickups

Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbuckers now have another type of sound - single (Single Coil). Traditional humbuckers in clipping mode, which simulates the sound of a single, can sound weak and unconvincing. The new Voice 3 mode will give you a truly natural sounding single that can only be obtained thanks to Fishman's Fluence technology.

Special electrical circuit

In order to reveal the full potential of the Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic sensors, a simple but very versatile control scheme was applied that gives access to all types of sound needed by the musician, allowing you to focus on playing and creating music.

Tremolo Cort CFA-III

Mechanics also have a significant impact on the acoustic characteristics of the guitar. The X700 Duality uses a Cort CFA-III tremolo system with die-cast technology and stainless steel saddles, base plate and block for a massive and solid sound, as well as better sustain.

Ebony fingerboard

There are many types of wood used for fretboards, but nothing compares to the dark black beauty and shiny smoothness of ebony.

Neck made of 3-piece maple and panga panga

The strength and brightness of maple is perfectly combined with the warm midrange of panga panga wood, which provides a great feeling during play and intelligibility of sound.

Fluorescent side fret markers

Lateral Luminlay luminescent fret markers allow the guitarist to easily see the fingerboard positional markers even when performing on dark stages.

Stainless steel frets

The stainless steel frets have excellent corrosion resistance and also greatly increase the playing comfort. The wide and tall Jumbo fretboard profile provides fast response, excellent articulation when playing chords, crystal-clear sound of every note and smooth bends.
