The updated MBM-2 range features a revised body contour closer to Bellamy's stage guitars, with all design and development work carried out under the personal supervision of Manson Guitar Works.

The MBM-2 Sustainiac is equipped with a unique Sustainiac® pickup and received a new Satin Black color with a matte finish. Manson® and Sustainiac® humbucker

The new MBM-2 Sustainiac features a unique Sustainiac® pickup near the neck that provides virtually infinite sustain. It picks up the signal from the bridge pickup and uses it to amplify the Sustainiac unit in the neck position - this creates a magnetic field that allows the strings to vibrate endlessly. It's great for both practical and experimental use, and works as an active pickup when Sustainiac is not engaged.

The controls of the MBM-2 Sustainiac are simple and versatile. There is one volume control, master tone and a three-way switch. Controls the pickup combination of two humbuckers.
