CORT electric guitars of the KX series

The KX series electric guitars are designed for today's musicians who pay tribute to classic instruments that have stood the test of time. The ergonomic and elegant shape of the body with two cutouts and expressive curves, a thin "speed" neck that provides convenient access to the upper frets, selected electronics and a wide tonal range make the guitars of this series an excellent choice for any style of music.

Introduced in 2018, the KX series multiscale guitars instantly gained worldwide recognition as the most versatile and reliable working guitars for progressive guitarists. The KX307 Multi Scale model boasts all the key advantages of multiscale seven-string instruments, but at a very nice price. The mahogany body combined with the "bolted" Roasted maple neck produces a tight but clear sound with a fast attack. The improved geometry of the frets with the "neutral" fret in the 8th position and the improved location of the volume and tone controls make performance very comfortable, even if you have no experience playing multiscale guitars before. The specially designed PowerBar pickups are powerful and aggressive, and perfectly reproduce the sound of each string throughout the range.

7-string multi-scale model

The fan-shaped arrangement of the frets and multi-measurement compensate for the difference in string tension and provide a clearer, more elastic and dense sounding of each note, especially on the sixth and seventh strings. The neutral fret is now placed in the 8th position for a more natural opening angle of the frets, guaranteeing a more comfortable performance, especially on the lower frets.

Mahogany body

Mahogany is one of the most popular and favorite species of musicians for making instruments. The mahogany body adds a warm and deep resonance that's perfect for the low-frequency growl characteristic of the KX307 Multi Scale.

PowerBar speakers

PowerBar pickups are passive "soap dish" humbuckers designed specifically for multi-string guitars. Roasted maple neck and fretboard

In the process of processing maple in a special oxygen-free oven at high temperature, the wood stabilizes and acquires a golden-brown shade. In addition to the attractive vintage appearance, the "baked" maple allows to increase the stability of the neck and brighter sound of the instrument.

Individual fixed bridge

The original fixed bridge on the KX307MS consists of 7 individual offset saddles. It makes it easy to adjust the scale and pitch of each string, and improves intelligibility and articulation even when playing chords. The construction "strings through the body" significantly improves resonance and richness of sound.
