Inspired by the original Space bass guitars of the 1980s

The Space 5 is a modern adaptation of the 80s classic, with a body and neck modeled after the current flagship Artisan Bass Series, with modifications that make it more compact (deeper and bolder contour cuts) and "headless".

The MK-1 provides excellent sound quality and control capabilities. The MK-1 delivers plenty of crisp and warm mids, as well as clear and sparkling highs for a beautifully balanced sound. An active 3-band equalizer lets you fine-tune the perfect timbre with the bass, mid, and treble control knobs.

The neck and individual bridges have been designed and thoroughly tested to ensure adjustability and playing stability, and to make the Space 5 as light, compact and simple as possible.

The emphasis of the 7-piece neck is on tight and clear mid-range frequencies

The mids complement the bright and wide tone of the mahogany body, creating a perfectly balanced sound that completes the bass spectrum. 

The zero fret functions as a bass cut

The zero fret sets the height of the string above the fingerboard when playing on an open string. The fret is also used as a guide to set the distance between the strings.

The function of adjusting the anchor rod with a spoke nut

Allows you to fine-tune the neck deflection depending on the player's technique and playing style.
