Center channel acoustics JBL Studio 665C
The JBL Studio 665C 2.5-way model is the senior center channel loudspeaker in the company's Studio 6 series and features four 5.25-inch (133 mm) long-throw mid/woofer drivers with rubber suspensions. The driver diffusers are made of Harman's patented PolyPlas composite. The PolyPlas material is a "sandwich" consisting of several polymer layers, between which a cellulose "stuffing" is placed. Thanks to this solution, it is possible to get rid of unwanted resonances, as well as to ensure the necessary rigidity and lightness. As a result, the sound in the midrange and bass ranges becomes cleaner, more precise, powerful and realistic, and their special relief texture helps to make the membranes even stiffer and more resistant to bending.
