Acoustic design technology provides balanced sound

Yamaha Acoustic Design technology uses scientific processes such as 3D modeling to develop wood milling techniques that increase the resonance of the body and improve the transmission of vibrations between the neck and the body.

Exceptional ease of play

With a slim C-profile neck, smooth neck heel, beveled body and 13.8" (350mm) fretboard radius, the Pacifica Standard Plus is exceptionally easy and comfortable to play.

A modern neck shape for comfort and speed combined with a satin finish ensures smooth play. The smooth fifth fingerboard makes access even to the upper frets convenient and easy. The alder body is chamfered along the lower part to improve playing comfort.

Speakers of a new design provide clear sound

The new Reflectone pickups, created in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, deliver a clean and crisp sound with tight lows and sparkling highs, while the HSS pickup configuration combined with split-coil capability provides outstanding versatility.

Aesthetics inspired by Japanese urban pop art

A variety of vibrant new finishes have been developed jointly by teams in Hamamatsu and Los Angeles, inspired by Japanese urban pop art and the sunny atmosphere of Southern California.

Fingerboard made of rosewood or maple

Rosewood fretboards are prized for their warm tone and smooth attack, while maple fretboards provide a brighter tone and sharper attack.

The stainless steel frets are extremely durable and also reduce bending resistance.
